" ROHINGYA EXODUS "
The Rohingya are minority community living in Rakhine State, Mayanmar. There were around 1 million Rohingya living in Mayanmar before the 2016-17 emergency. On 22 October 2017, according to the United Nations, around 603,000 refugees from Rakhine, Mayanmar had crossed the border into Bangladesh since August 25, 2017. This number increased to 624000 by November 2, 2017 and over 625,000 by December 6, 2017 and almost everyday more Rohingya people are entering Bangladesh. This is really a huge exodus of Rohingyas from Mayanmar Nationality Law. They are restricted and civil service jobs. The are deprived of basic rights and privileges. Genocide took place in Rakhine State. Many Rohingya people were beaten burned to death. Many women were raped. Their houses were burned to ashes. So, they were bound to leave Mayanmar and take shelter in Bangladesh and other neighboring countries. They set up temporary camps in different areas of Cox's Bazar. The Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh came forward to help the helpless Rohingya people. Besides, other countries came forward to provide them with basic things. They also donate the government of Bangladesh to help the distressed Roihngya people. The government of Bangladesh is trying to raise an international awareness to get a permanent solution to the Rohingya crisis. It is because the long term stay of the Rohingya people in Bangladesh will put heavy pressure on her economy.
