Its invention : Joh Beyard, an English scientist invented the television 1926. This was not an improved one then. But later on the scientists have gradually developed its function. It is exceptionally current, modest and simple to work now.

What is it : The word 'tele' means distance and 'vision' means sight.So 'television' literally means the process by which the distant objects can be seen. It is a box which receives the signals, photos and sounds that a television center or station 

telecasts. This is done by installing a radio telephone system. In word a the television is a system which employs mechanical photo electrical and wireless processes for reproducing scenes, objects, etc at a distance.
