Man is a social being. He lives in a society with others. So he cannot do whatever he likes. He has to obey certain rules.The obedience to these rules is discipline. Discipline regulates human conduct and prevents him from doing whatever he likes. It establishes law and order in the society. In order to keep peace and tranquillity in the society, discipline is a must. For need of control, a home can't be a genuine home, a general public can't be a quiet society and a country can't be a solid and dynamic one. Even an army without discipline is a rabble, So discipline is a must in every sphere of life. In games and sports if the players do not obey the orders of the captain, they can't win the games and sports. Discipline is necessary in every educational institution. No educational institution can run and do well without discipline. Similarly, the student can't run smoothly without discipline among its workers. A family without discipline is sure to suffer from chaos and confusion. In various strolls of our life, we additionally discover the need of control. For example, when we go to a market or to a shop to buy a thing or to a railway station to buy a ticket, we often see a large crowd. In such a circumstance, if everybody attempts to get his thing first, there will clearly be mayhem and nobody will get what he needs. If on the other hand they form a queue, each of them will get his thing with least trouble. If we want to pass a road violating the traffic rules, we may surely invite an accident. Nature shows a shining example of discipline. The sun, the moon, the stars and all the planets of the universe follow discipline carefully. As such they move in their own orbit. Any break of control here will achieve the absolute obliteration of the universe. Home is the first institution to learn discipline. If the children are allowed to do whatever they like, they will be spoiled. So, there must be discipline in every family. Secondly, student life is the formative period of a man's life. It is the best period of learning discipline. So, every school and college should teach discipline and the value of discipline to its students. Most great men and women of the world learnt the lessons of discipline in their student life. Discipline is the secret of success. An existence without it resembles a boat without a rudder. Without it our life will be at hazards. Life, which isn't reliable with discipline, makes certain to destroy. So, all of us should obey the discipline from the very beginning of life.
