Mobile phone is one of the blessings of modern science. It has added a new dimension to our life and communication system as well. It has carried the world closer to us. 'Distance' the word  has become elusive with the invention of mobile phone. By mobile phone we can communicate with our near and dear ones within a minute at whatever distance they live. We no longer need to count days waiting for letters sent from a far off place. A mother need not shed tears for the absense of her son who lives in far off places. Doctors, bankers, businessmen and high officials are greatly benefited by using mobile phone. They can collect up-date information from home and abroad in the shortest possible time. Mobile phone is equally helpful to journalists. Reporters of a paper can gather updates on an episode not long after it happens. Despite having many advantages mobile phone is not unmixed blessings. Scientists believe that there are some diseases like brain tumors, genetic damage, blood pressure are caused by continuous  using of mobile phone. Sometimes terrorists and criminals carry out their evil designs and commit crimes without much difficulty. In spite of these demerits there is no easy and better means of communications than a mobile phone.
