ANTHRAX
Anthrax is a fatal disease discovered recently in cows. It is a health hazard for the cows as well as human beings. Basically it is a disease found in cows and goats but it can unhygienic conditions of animals. It is caused by a rod-shaped backterium called Bacillies anthracis which causes black holes in the skin of the victim. If any cow or goat is attacked. It dies within a very short time. Human beings are attacked with anthrax when they eat beef, because of a cow which has been attacked. Anthrax is contagious disease. If a healthy person comes in contact with an anthrax victim, he is sure to get the disease. Because of anthrax phobia people have stopped eating beef. This is a curable disease. This dangerous disease can be prevented by giving cows and goats the proper vaccination. So all the animals have been brought under vaccination programme and the programme is said to be successful as a result, the situation is now under contral. People can eat beef after proper treatment. The government should take all necessary steps to prevent this disease. If it can not be prevented to fully our leather industry will suffer a lot and many people specially the butchers will suffer because they will remain unemployed.
