Introduction : Students are the best power of a country. They are the future leaders of a country. They can build or destroy a nation. Hence, they play a vital role in a society as well as in a country.
Primary duty : The life of a student is not a bad of roses. The chief obligation of a student is to contemplate and gain information on different things. He must study according to a routine. He has to be attentive to his studies and teachers. He should also read newspaper, magazines, literature, history etc. A student ought to recall that character is the crown of a man. So he has to cultivate good manners and other noble virtues. Every single good quality like trustworthiness, unobtrusiveness, honesty, discipline, diligence, genuineness, dependability must be gained during this time.
Service to illiterate people : The most significant obligation of understudies lies in evacuating lack of education among the individuals. Students can do this duty during their holidays. They can go to villages and make people aware of the importance of education. They can set up night schools for this reason.
Service to common people : Students can help the average citizens in various ways. They can help the farmers by telling them of the need for scientific methods of cultivation. They can also help the people by telling them of the importance of birth control.
Service in national health : Students can do a lot for national health. Right now, female student's job is significant. They can show unskilled female people how to raise their youngsters and deal with their well being. Other than all students all in all can show conventional individuals how to keep nature free and clean.
Service in time of natural calamity : Students can help the enduring individuals during catastrophes. In such circumstances they can gather assets for destitute and poverty stricken individuals and partake in alleviation tasks. Through the Red Cross Society, they can work for all the distressed of the world.

It is the study which is the primary duty of student life, acquisition of learning and knowledge is not, however, an easy thing. It needs devotion and undivided attention. It requires years of painstaking study. The prime duty of students life is to attend classes and listen to his teachers. He has also to give serious thought to what he reads and what his teachers say. Again the purpose of education is not to render any one unfit for practical life. Its aim is to make men fit to live a better one future life. This life does not usually mean a life away from society; they must not neglect their social duties. They must learn to love others, especially those who call for love and sympathy. This is their human beings. Therefore, on of their duties is to imbibe a spirit of service. Another very important duty of student is to have these good nature. Education is supposed to improve a man's character, and it really does improve it in many cases. Every student should strive to build up a character worthy of a really educated man. The students may participate in the drive for eradicating illiteracy. They also have to organize social welfare clubs.
